These terms apply to gift vouchers purchased from The Rare Butcher, including vouchers purchased through our website.

2. PURCHASING GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers can be purchased through our website using the available voucher denominations.

Online payments are securely processed by Square.

Once payment has been successfully completed, your gift voucher will be delivered electronically by email.

Please ensure that the email address provided during checkout is correct.

3. VOUCHER DELIVERY

Gift vouchers are supplied electronically and are not posted as physical vouchers.

If you have completed a purchase but have not received your voucher, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting us.

We may ask for your order reference or other purchase details to help locate and verify your order.

4. VALIDITY AND EXPIRY

Our gift vouchers have no expiry date.

They remain valid until redeemed, subject to these terms and applicable law.

5. REDEEMING YOUR VOUCHER

Gift vouchers cannot currently be redeemed through our website checkout.

Please present your voucher when making a purchase in-store so that its validity and available value can be checked.

If the value of your purchase exceeds the available voucher value, the difference can be paid using an accepted in-store payment method.

6. PARTIAL REDEMPTION

If you wish to spend less than the full value of your voucher, please ask a member of staff before completing your purchase.

We will confirm how any remaining voucher balance can be handled.

7. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If you have purchased a gift voucher online and wish to cancel your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible, providing your order reference and purchase details.

Cancellation and refund requests will be handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including any statutory cancellation rights that apply to your purchase.

Where a refund is due, we will arrange reimbursement in accordance with applicable legal requirements, normally using the original payment method.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.

8. LOST OR MISPLACED VOUCHERS

If you lose or accidentally delete your voucher email, please contact us with your original purchase details.

Where we can verify the purchase and confirm that the voucher has not already been redeemed, we will endeavour to assist with recovering or reissuing the voucher.

9. VOUCHER SECURITY

Please keep your voucher details secure and avoid sharing them with anyone other than the intended recipient.

We may request reasonable verification before accepting or reissuing a voucher where fraud or unauthorised use is suspected.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.

Changes will not retrospectively remove existing contractual or statutory rights associated with vouchers already purchased.
